Still more Huntington plants from Norma Lewis (Crasulady). This is a
continuation of the previous offers.
For those of you who haven't seen me posting, please may I explain what we
are doing here. Now I will be listing plants from the Huntington Collection
mostly with collection # included. These plants were not suitable (good
enough) for
the Huntington's high standards so they were going to be tossed out. I
convinced John Trager, (curator) to let this group have an opportunity to
buy them, the money going to the ISI (International Succulent
Introductions) We consider this as a donation for which we thank all of
you.
Make checks payable to the ISI and mail to Norma Lewis, 5246 Beeman Ave.
No. Hollywood 91607, CA U.S.A First come, first serve, all are welcome.

I do not charge for handling, boxes, tape, time. I just can't stand to see
these plants tossed out. These are from the Huntington Gardens, the plants
have been donated by many people. The latest has been Alice Waidhoffer
which
gave a very large collection, Juan Chahinian, Lillian True, Hermine Stover,
Michael
Vassar, Manny Singer, J. McConville, and others. These plants are surplus,
some
are not in show condition, and would make good stock plants. Please
include
your order with price and description, or an open order, and I will make
the
selection. Add extra plants for subsitutes that will be a big help. I now
have 70 ft. of plants in a double row down each side of my driveway.

Bye for now, Norma
P.S. Does anyone know anything about a 'Silver Princess' shorter than
'Silver Queen' the new leaves has some green banding. I have been told
that
they are one and the same, but growing them side by side this past 6 yrs. I
can see the difference. What says all of you out there?
('Silver Princess' is listed as being the same as 'Gray Lady' in Juan's
book.(p.105))
