FUNDS AVAILABLE FOR YOUTH PROJECTS
Junior high and high school students affiliated with a nonprofit or
school group could get some financial help for their next community
service project.The Phoenix Youth and Education Commission has created the Nothin' But Positive Youth Giving Back Fund to give young people a boost in their efforts to make the city a better place.
Program sponsor Winnerz 1 donated $8,500 to establish the fund, which also contains matching dollars from the city. As much as $250 per project is available to purchase materials used for activities that benefit the community.
