Re: [sg] I support EE funding!

The House and Senate VA, HUD Appropriations Subcommittees have held
their respective hearings on EPA's FY'03 Budget. There is continued
support from House Chair Jim Walsh and Senate Chair Barbara Mikulski for keeping the funding for the Office of EE in the EPA.
During the hearings, Senator Kohl from Wisconsin and Rep. Carrie Meek from
Miami, Florida expressed their concerns about the proposed transfer of
funding and their support for EPA's EE, on the record.

Additional support has been seen from Rep. George Miller, from
California, Ranking Democrat on the House Education and Workforce Committee.
Rep. Miller has electronically circulated a dear colleague letter to all
House Members, urging Members to join him in sending a letter of support for
EPA's EE funding to the Appropriations Committee.

Thanks for your interest and efforts in fighting for the return of
EPA's EE funding.
