Junior Master Gardening Program Contest

Just wanted to let you know about a contest being offered by the Junior Master Gardener Program.  This program was developed by the Texas Agricultural Extension Service at Texas A&M University.  They were in Phoenix at the SW Region Community and School Gardening Conference and conducted a fabulous workshop.   


JUNIOR MASTER GARDENER PROGRAM NEWS...

The Junior Master Gardener (JMGsm) program is sponsoring an
activity/lesson writing competition for creative teachers and youth
leaders. The JMG program is accepting submissions of original, group activities/lessons for publication in the Junior Master Gardener Level Two (Grades 6-8) materials. 

Deadline for submitting entries is August 31, 2000.  Cash prizes will be awarded for overall first, second and third place winners.
