A friend told me about an acre square 'learning maze' at a southern
california school. The maze is a path between raised beds, each
raised bed carries paired plantings of heirloom and modern food
plants. "moves" are determined by the roll of a die, 'spaces' are
determined by the child's recognition of the change of crops within
plantings, and so on. I'm looking for more details of gardens with a
similarly 'robust' approach to learning. If you know of any write-ups
on this topic, please let me know(!)
Thanks
