Hello,
the Farm to School conference (first national) in Seattle last friday was great. If you haven't hooked into this movement it is very inspiring. the foodsecurity.org web site is a place to start as that coalition has been the leaders in getting people together to talk about our school food service, getting farm fresh produce and foods into our nation's schools, and the garden education, nutrition education that goes along with it. There are quite a few models now that have started farmers market salad bars in the schools. Sheets of resources were handed out. How best to share?
Reminder: Junior Master Gardener curriculum is very useful! JMGKIDS.org
