Re: School_garden digest, Vol 1 #40 - 1 msg

I would like to see more curriculum resources made available to
elementary teachers...there is not a lot out there on nutrition to be
taught in a meaningful yet interesting way, I seem to be winging it a
lot.  I can find loads of info, but not a lot on how to teach it.

I would also like to see a regional tree-planting program in place.
There seem to be plenty of places where you can order pine tree
seedlings or hardwood tree seedlings for reasonable prices, but they are
not suitable for growing in the Southwestern desert climate.

Just my suggestions...for what they are worth.
