Great idea!
Some ones been eating my alaska peas, bummer. I'll interplant with
wandos. Snow peas from the Martha Stewart collection are fabulous.
Chiogga beets finally have sprouted as have the orange ones. Tonight I
am planting my favas that I got in Little Italy. I took my herbs out to
harden off, we've been overcast and the situation is ideal.
I sowed some Persian zinnias at the base of the smaller bean tower,
still no germination but it's just been three days.
I finished putting up my various limb walls, towers, and trellises. All
are finally in place, just have to finish stringing one of the limb
walls, got the twine this afternoon. Tomorrow I'll direct sow my morning
glories and start some more seeds in the windowsill.
The little mesclun plants are about a half inch, would love to taste one
but it's too itty bitty.
Making another bed, pinched a couple of bags of grass and leaves from
the curb the next town over for the bed, it's going in lasagna style,
whoopee! the bags were already getting hot and were half full of oak
leaf.......just doesn't get better than this.
