Square Foot Gardening List - http://www.flinet.com/~gallus/sqft.html
They looked a lot like pea flowers (being related) but they're bright orange
with red markings. If you think of a peacock with its tail spread open,
you'll get the general shape. The flower has a flat half-circle petal of
orange in back with a red border (the peacock's tail), and a little lump of
red and orange in front at the bottom center (the body). I believe some
varieties might have yellow or white flowers. Hopefully, that makes a good
mental picture for someone out there. I don't recall whether they attracted
butterflies or bees, but they were pretty for the day they lasted.
