  This wood really does rot even though it has been "pressure treated". I also
found out that the wood they sell in Florida is pressure treated because of 
the threat of rotting and bug infestation. I guess you can cut down your own
trees if you have them and make your own wood that is not treated :)
Also, although I have not seen it, I don't think redwood is treated, but it
is very expensive. It will probably never rot though.
