I wish there were a test the I could give my soil, but I know that my
plants are doing well and it doesn't seem like they are affected. I hate
for my family to have to be the guinea pigs and so far we are all fine, but
of course, I would rather have wood that would not leach out any arson
(LOL. It was a spelling error!).
Actually, that was part of the tests I believe, and it was determined that
either there was no or very little arsenic in the soil, or that the plants
will not take them in. I will have to look and see if I have any notes on
this and should look at the web pages on this for more info. Of course, we
pray about our food before we eat it. Perhaps that is why we're not affected?
I don't want to take the information from just the two people I talked
to and form a conclusion on it by any means. I would recommend doing
something else or doing something to the wood first, if this is at all
possible. The wood is exactly the right size and for the first time people
are actually acknowledging that I have a garden! Usually people that have
to go into our back yard ( like mower men) just throw toys into the
gardens, etc. without regard to the plants. I am always willing to learn
new ways.
