Hi Mike,

My fava beans are all sprouting and doing well. I have planted out my
tomatoes and peppers and the day after we had a fierce day of rain
bringing us nearly seven inches. The tomatoes took a pounding but
they're okay now, however my pepper plants didn't respond well, they got
they bruised a bit and I don't think some of them will survive.
fortunately I was able to plant about three of each variety so there are
still some left (who really needs 50 hot pepper plants, when just one
will kill your taste buds all year, LOL?)

I gently tugged at one of my radishes and there is a bright red ball
almost a third of an inch across (I know, whoopee, but it's the first
time I have grown them).

I planted some Tie Dye Morning Glories at the base of one of my bean
towers along with Turkey Neck Beans. The beans haven't come up yet but
the morning glories have germinated.

My flat leaf parsley and cilantro seedlings are starting to grow and I
can munch a little leaf as I walk by them. I LOVE the way cilantro
taste. I got some more herbs to add to the garden today, I usually grow
my own from seeds but the price was so good, 99¢ for a six pack. I got
some flat leaf basil, which has a gazillion seedlings in it, some
creeping thyme, and some more sage.

My nasturtiums are staring to germinate, they're at the base of my other
bean tower.

The strawberries in the new bed have flowers!

I know this isn't "Square Foot" but I gotta tell. I grew some lunaria
last year from seeds and what I thought was a batch of purple flowered
ones bloomed this week and they are pure white. They are SO PRETTY!
