Drip, drip drip. As in drip irrigation.  Out here in the central valley of
California it is almost a necessity - it's one of those things that once you
have it you'll never go back!  By using different rate drippers i.e., 1/2, 1
or 2 gal/hr or making a ring out drip system soaker hose, just like the big
ones, but mini in size, you can get just the right amount of water to each
plant. Out here Home Depot has several types. An added bonus is it really
saves on the amount of water you use.
