We plant at this spacing. Don't plant to many squares at once, we plant 2
squares every 2 weeks and it keeps the wife & I in fresh beans throughout
the season. It does tend to get rather jungle like in appearance and so I
try to keep them to the edge of the beds as much as possible, just letting
them cascade over the sides of the bed.

The bottom leaves tend to fall off, but no harm done. I yank them out of
the ground as soon as they're done and replant. They do seem to be more
prone those yellowish bugs that love the underside of the leaf and that may
be from overcrowding, but we seem to always have enough to eat.
