Make sure they stay watered, the heat likes to evaporate the water
out of the soil even if the inside of the plastic looks wet with dew.
Check them every night. If they are wilting, water them immediately
and removed the cover the next morning. I would be more worried
about whether or not is was sunny or cloudy and not the actual
outside temperature. A strong sun on a cold day can do wonders
for something that can accumulate the heat.
