All plastic sheeting is going to be temporary. I
chose 1 mil because it is easy to work with and the
greenhouse in its current form is meant to be put up
and used for a month or so in late winter and early
fall. Eventually, I will replace the plastic sheeting
with plexiglass, but I expect to replace the plastic
at least once before then.

The difference in cost between 1 and 6 mil by itself
is enough to justify the choice, but since the plastic
also clouds with age, I could reasonably expect to
change thicker plastic almost as often thinner just to
keep the levels of sunlight in the greenhouse high.

In the final form, this greenhouse will be the panels
on a pit or similar permanent greenhouse.

God bless,
George

And the word became flesh and dwelt among us...
