I posted about this on another list but hardly had any responses, I too have
been thinking of using this. The brand I saw was trex http://www.trex.com .
According to the website there are no chemical additives but on the other
hand they say it is made from recycled plastic grocery bags and wood fibers.
I would think that plastic grocery bags are made from chemicals. It is quite
expensive, I was quoted $47.99 for a 2x10x12'.

I don't know if this has been asked, discussed before, if so sorry. I
was at the store to buy some wood for a couple of new raised beds and
saw the (new to me) resin and wood fiber "lumber". Is this safe to use
for beds for vegies?
Thanks,
Gail, who needs a new spot for all of the experiments this year
