Re: Hello, I'm new - Raised bed questions

We have two beds that are raised and not enclosed. We have not used any
ground cover on the slopes and they are fine. We water by hand or by a
soaker hose, but it rains here a lot so we have a fair amount of runoff,
but the beds are still mounded & sloped.

If you want to use a ground cover though, why don't you use an edible
ground cover like creeping thyme, marjoram, chamomile, yarrow, or chives as
someone else mentioned.
Clover is a good idea, but it can be invasive, not as invasive as grass.
Don't use turf grass because it is extremely invasive and hard to get rid
of since it spreads by underground rhizomous runners.

Good luck.
