Re: Gophers

I bought a *have a hart* trap last year. It cost me about $40 but it was
worth it. I plant a nice broccoli transplant right were the bate normally
goes.

In the spring the young gophers start to range. Catch these young ones and
re-locate or whatever and your problem should lessen.

Also, I have a 3 foot chicken wire fence around my squares. This is not
fool proof as the older ones have learned to climb over the fence (it's
actually quite comical when you chase one out of the garden and they try to
lug their fat little bodies over the fence!)

Using both deterrents I have had no further problems

Help! I've been invaded by a gopher family, and every morning I find
another catastrophe they have caused in my garden. They literallye pull
plants down and cause them to disappear without a trace. While I don't
like to do any harm to any living being, I'm ready to say goodbye to these
unwelcome visitors. I just bought some "bombs" --any other advise??
