Brandywine, Prudens Purple and Principe Borghese are indeterminate. I've grown Brandywine for about 5 years and tried Prudens Purple for the first time last year. I was really impressed with the yield of Prudens Purple. Brandywines are "chunkers" - they taste GREAT, but are somewhat misshapen so you can't slice them, you "chunk" them. I'm trying Principe Borghese for the first time this year. My seedlings don't look so great for some reason. (Maybe it's aphids from my peppers). Anyway, the Principe Borghese's are Italian drying tomatoes. I have drying instructions if you have never dried tomatoes before.
I've never grown the others, but I think the Rutgers are indeterminate.

Can anyone help me? I was given seeds for various types of tomatoes and I
have no idea whether they are vining type or not. the Big Beef are
indeterminant and vining I believe but what about Brandywine (heirloom),
Super sweet 100 cherry toms, Principe Borghese, Prudens Purple (heirloom),
Rutgers, and the new Super Tasty Tomato (freebie from Parks seeds)....
I'm planning on trellising everything I can this year (Honey doesn't yet
know he'll be constructing these gadgets .. I try to break gardening plans
to him gently and only when I need them!). So as you can see I need to be
prepared to trellis whichever tomatoes need it.
Thanks in advance.
