Hey all! I'm new to gardening, sq ft or otherwise, as well as this list but look forward learning a lot. My husband built me a couple of raised beds and I am planning on planting two sqft of lettuce and 2 sqft of spinach separated by a .5 by 2 sqft row of strawberries. (I had read that they were compatible or something.) Anyway, until I read this I had planned to keep the berries in a pot so as to prevent them from taking over the world. Now I'm wondering if I should put some kind of separater in the dirt btw the rows -- like cut up panels of milk jugs. Does this sound like paranoia or a waste of time? Look forward to hearing from you. fia - in Zone 6(ish) -- Sophia Hansen fia@netcentral.net *************************************************************************** To unsubscribe, send to: listserv@umslvma.umsl.edu the body message: unsubscribe sqft See http://www.umsl.edu/~silvest/garden/sqft.html for archive, FAQ and more.
