Use rain guage to determine how much rain you received. Garden needs about 1
inch a week. If sandy soil, then more water needed. If you only get 1/2
inch rain, then hand water 1/2 the amount Mel Bartholomew (sp?) recommends.
Do I do this? If there is a ban on watering, yes. But it takes so much time
to hand water. (whine, whine)
