I started using the mini-soaker hose (WalMart) 1/4 inch hose and
connectors. I run two down every square. More manuverable, cheaper,
easier to clean when that time comes. Only problem is that they don't
water evenly over long runs, but they have connectors, tee's, and
mini-hose to divide things up. I used sections of old regular hose to
supply the beds and the connectors go right into the rubber hose with a
little help from a awl. I have a few six foot beds and I am going to
have to connect each side of the hoses to a garden hose so that the
pressure is distribuated evenly.
