Thanks for the advice, George. I'll try doing this again (have done
several times) but this time without the regulator. We have very
hard water in Claremont - ice cubes in the freezer dry out to leave
lots of white powdery residue! My tropical fish don't seem to mind
it though! BTW, for those of you with freshwater aquariums, if you
don't add a lot of chemicals, which I don't, you can use the old
water when you do your water changes to feed your plants. So far I
haven't used it on my veggie garden, but have used it on rosemary,
chives, agapanthus, pineapple sage, and jasmine, and they all love
it to death!
