In the April 17, 1997 edition of the Wall Street Journal (page C-1), it
was reported that exposure to bone-meal dust during gardening may have
been responsible for the possible "mad-cow disease" death of an Indiana
man.

As a vegetarian, I have other reasons for finding an alternative to
using blood meal and blood meal as is recommended in Mel's book (page
63).   Any ideas ??
