Re: Yellow leaves on tomato seedlings - advice, please!


Sounds like too much light.
I'm a novice myself but I believe 14-16 hours of light should be sufficient.
I believe a period of dark is absolutely necessary. I can't figure out why
the other varieties are not affected unless the affected variety is near the
center of the light source where the light is most intense. I have four
varieties of tomatoes and two varieties of peppers and I use a four foot
shoplight almost touching the seedlings and set to stay on 16 hours (6AM to
10PM). Peppers might be able to handle more light which is why they may not
show signs (yet).
