Platinum Lady is the only se variety that I have planted, though I am
trying a couple different types this year. It really is a great
variety-sweet and I get 2-3 ears per stalk.
A great way to cook it (especially if you only want to cook one ear) is
to husk it, wrap in a damp paper towel, and microwave for 1-2 minutes
depending on the size of the ear. Great!!

actually you don't even have to husk it just rinse in water and "nuke" for 3
minutes, then wrap in a towel(not paper) for 5 minutes...THEN peal back the
husk. The silks will come off easily and you can use the husk as the holder,
also you can leave it wrapped in the towel for up to 10 min. and it will
still be hot(this is handy when you are cooking other things that might not
be quite ready) We use this method at the hospital I work at...it has become
VERY popular!!!!!
