Were they tied up like cantaloupes? I have Spagetti Squash, honeydew, Sugar Baby Watermellon, and cantalope on trellis. I have some heavy duty trellis though! It's rigging net of some sort (strings are about 1/8 inch nylon) streched on 4x4s. I make sure that each developing fruit goes through a hole in the net so that the weight is taken up on the crook in the heavier stem that attaches to the fruit. -- The Image Mill Complete Graphics and WEB Service Featuring GIF89a Animations http://www.TheImageMill.com *************************************************************************** To unsubscribe, send to: listserv@umslvma.umsl.edu the body message: unsubscribe sqft See http://www.umsl.edu/~silvest/garden/sqft.html for archive, FAQ and more.
