Not too many people, but those who are here are mostly open-minded and devoted to the environment. Many artists and creative people add to the cultural life. A two-hour, beautiful drive brings us to San Francisco for big-city adventures. South of us is one of the least explored area in the country, Big Sur and the Lucia mountains. I'm never more than 5 minutes away from the ocean, with an unspoiled, natural coast and clean waters (but too cold to swim!) Artichokes and strawberries are grown commercially and shipped all over the country, so that's what I have in my SQFT garden! Heidi F.
