are bok choy and gai lon brassicas? I guess gai-lon must be; the
package says "oriental flower broccoli".
yesterday, I found that cutworms had enjoyed several of my rapini
plants. so, I installed collars made from empty paper towel rolls
which I'd saved for this purpose. Hope that I wasn't too late. How
do you handle this when planting seeds? Do you put the collar in the
square and then plant the seed *in* the collar?
