Square Foot Gardening List - http://www.flinet.com/~gallus/sqft.html
This is Bill's wife writing [he makes me make certain you all understand
that!]
I could not resist making a comment on the success [etc] thread. It is
laudable to assist others in this world to reach their fullest potential and
find value to their lives no matter what their current limitations and
struggles. Those who are unable to partake in old hobbies generally find
much more enjoyment out of assisting and advising others than living
vicariously through reading of others' successes. If the gentleman who is
requesting these stories is truly involved with cancer survivors and others
who would enjoy involvement in gardening, then I suggest he use this readily
available forum to obtain questions and needs which he can direct to these
others, who have learned so much over the years, and publish their responses
for the benefit of the group. If, however, he is gathering material for a
book, I would posit that members would be more willing to share stories if
approached honestly and directly. Those who do not wish to share for
publication will not, those who do will. Enough said.
