I made up two pots very late in the season last year and had a lite, but
continous harvest of berrys right up to the first frost.

This year the berry plants are coming back and I suspect will be strong
producers.

On the other hand, I was enjoying my berrys up until my two chickens,
(yes I square foot chickens to), discovered the berrys! They got very
good at detecting the perfectly ripe berry before I did and I can tell
you that THEY enjoyed the berrys too! :^)

I have also found the chickens to be very unful in the garden this
winter, by hunting out and deviouring the bugs. BYE BYE Slugs and snails!

Plus chicken drops are good in my compost piles and for my lawn.
