Hello List Members,

I've been lurking the last few weeks myself (though I did make a comment
about Pinetree Garden Seeds last week). Guess I should introduce myself!

I bought my first house last summer and spent a lot of time fixing up
the front yard. This summer I was hoping to do a lot more in the back
yard, but I had a garage built and ran out of money.

So my one project this summer is a veggie garden, my first ever. As I
was mapping out what I wanted to plant on some graph paper, I thought it
would make much more sense to group everything in square feet instead of
rows. I thought I remembered hearing about this "square foot gardening"
concept, so I searched the Internet and wound up here!

I've seen a lot of useful advice already, and will probably be asking
more questions in the future.
