Whereas up here in Montreal, open planting of corn can't begin before May,
and beans are best saved till May 24 or even later....
I bought some Luther Hill corn from Windmill Point Farm near Montreal, but
dunno if they'd ship to the States....
What kind of spacing do you give the LH corn, down yonder in tropical Texas,
Martha?
Frank---he filled up the bed with sifted compost, yesterday, where the
sweetpotatoes will go---top 8 inches of the compost pile was lovely, under
that still frozen....will put down the IRT plastic tomorrow, awaiting the
slips from Mapple Farm...
