Oh, this compost discussion reminds me of something I need to do. I was at
the whole foods market buying a smoothie. They also offered an assortment of
fresh juices: carrot, wheat grass, beet, etc. I asked them what they did
with the pulp from the juicer. "Oh, we just throw it away."

I was a little shocked, and suggested it would make good compost material.
Well yes, they said, people do come in and cart off buckets of the stuff. I
plan to do that myself today!

So if you're looking for some extra stuff for your pile, look no further
than the nearest juice/smoothie bar!
