I have found that Marigolds and New Zealand Spinach both inhibit St.
Agustine. I now have a hedge of NZ Spinach on my fence that keeps the
neighbor's grass out of my mulched area and a few blobs of Marigolds
that keep it from invading the ends of my beds.
