I return from a vacation and find i've been paged!

I live on a different island, and the usual response i get here in St.
Thomas is "All the agricultural stuff is in St. Croix."  (St. Thomas
doesn't even have a working soil tester!)  I'd like to see the extension
pay more attention to agriculture on St. Thomas, but i'm a computer
programmer, not a farmer.  They also don't have much for the home
gardener.  Perhaps when i get my priorities straightened out, i'll get
on their case...

Of course, i'll have to introduce them to Square Foot Gardening at that
time.  

The extension does host an agricultural fair on St. Thomas, too, but for
the most part they seem to be invisible on this island.

You may have to upgrade your software to see it; they put a tremendous
amount of work into making it really snazzy, not realizing that they
were shutting out anyone who doesn't pass their technology exam. 
(Another thing i'll have to talk to them about.)
