Re: flea beetles? Mexican bean beetles??


You might want to look at
http://ag.arizona.edu/pubs/garden/mg/entomology/garden.html in our on-line
Master Gardener's manual.  Not much advice (just says to plant varieties
that grow when the insects are not active) but you might find it helpful.  I
haven't personally had a problem with the bean beetles but the flea beetles
are a nuisance in some potted plants.  Quite a few insecticides are labeled
for flea beetles.
