Juliana,
You don't have to use a sprayer. The solution will still be useful for
ground application.
Compost tea is recommended as a foliar spray for a couple of reasons. One
is the uptake of nutrients through the leaf surface. But just as
important, it is believed that, used as a foliar spray, the compost tea
creates colonies of beneficial bacteria on the leaf surface.
The fine mist of a sprayer disperses the material best for a sticky coating.
You can use your watering can to water over the plant and ground.
I think you should still stick with a dilute solution.
