Hi, 
I'm also in need of some mulch advice.  3 years ago I put down plastic 
weed-block and topped it with slate stepping stones.  Well, by now, there's 
so many weeds in the paths ( on top of the weed block) that I spend more time 
weeding the paths than the garden!  Any ideas for how to keep the paths soil 
and weed free?
