Doreen, I am getting confused about the green bell (sweet) peppers. In a
previous reply to a person having trouble with green pepper plant wilting
you stated, "I watered my peppers very little during the driest part of June
and July and had no wilting." For this last reply regarding green bells &
hot bells you replied, "If a sweet pepper does not have a steady supply of
water, sugars don't develop and the capsicum (the stuff that makes any
pepper hot) develops." What am I not understanding here?
Keep the faith!
