They are called:  Edamame - and are COOKED fresh soybeans, served either
warm or chilled, still in the shell, lightly salted.  They are fresh, they
are NOT raw.  You can get them at most Japanese restaurants here, certainly
at most of the good sushi places.  We have them every week at our wednesday
night sushi fests.
