I think you can still stick seeds for onions and garlic sections into the
ground here (I'm on the other side of Washington, DC, from you).
Behnke's, the premier nursery in this area, has sets of cabbage and broccoli
available for sale now. Come on around the Beltway, exit at U.S. 1 North,
and go about 2 miles. Behnke's is big and on your left--you can't miss it.
