Bernie,

For open pollenated and heirloom varieties, I would suggest three possible
sources:

Seeds of Change
P.O. Box 15700
Santa Fe, New Mexico 87506-5700
Catalog: 1-800-95-SEEDS
WWW: http://www.seedsofchange.com

Seed Savers Exchange
Kent Whealy, Director
Rural Route 3, Box 239
Decorah, Iowa 52101

FEDCO Seeds
P. O. Box 520
Waterville, ME 04903
Telephone: ( 207) 873-7333

I personally use Fedco, they offer both hybrids and open-pollenated
varieties of vegetables, and clearly mark which are which. Their prices are
great and their selection wide. Since they are a seed coop of farmers and
growers (many organic) they don't have the nice color pictures and 24 hour
call lines the other companies do, but they do have lots of practical advise
and real life experiences with all of the varieties they sell.

PS: I am not associated with Fedco in any way other than being a satisfied
customer!
