I want to publically apologize to Richard Callwood because I was making
light of his helpful post. Just because I'm too dumb to realize the wisdom
in his statements I made a joke of his entire post. 

That was not my intention. I thought _he_ was making a joke which I wasn't
going to fall for because the idea of not smoking around tomatoes seemed
far-fetched to me. My ignorance and I let everbody know it just for a laugh. 

I'm sorry I was merely attempting to interject a little humor. 

And I ended up learning quite a bit. Since I don't smoke and neither has
anyone else around my garden, my tomatoes died of something else.

Thanks. I'll watch my manners.
