Hmm, I've never known Hastings as anything but a garden center here in the
Atlanta area. But then I wasn't really paying any attention to things
gardening in 1993. A few years ago they moved from their old location to a
more *upscale* one, and the couple of times I've been there I've been (a)
disappointed with their selection of plant materials and (b) aghast at the
prices.
I did buy Don Hastings' book "Month by Month Gardening in the South" last
fall and so far like it a lot.
