   Chicory, I believe, was used as a substitute for coffee in the old west
and probably used by native Americans as well.  Chock Full of Nuts has
chicory in it and is the one brand I would decline if someone offered me a
free can. YUKKK!  But that is my opinion.  Obviously some people like it or
it would not still be on the shelves.  If dandelion taste like that I would
only try it once.

   I am very much interested in the whole thing.  It sounds like just what I
need.  Having the "old mans " disease, swollen prostate, I need to get up
several times during the night.  It is sometimes very difficult to get back
to sleep and I would love to go to bed with the chickens and not wake up
till the cock crows.  If it works I will have to send you something by
e-mail usually delivered under mistle toe at xmass :-)
