Re: [Source needed for CHEAP plastic pots]

>Would like to find a source for inexpensive 4, 6 and 8" pots. I am looking
for the type that the plants from the nurseries or garden center come in. It
doesn't matter whether sq or round as long as they"re cheap.
Charlie.
P.S. trying to stay away from clay only because of the weight and the
cost.______

*Don't discount the use of 2 liter bottles. Not everyone recycles them for $.
Many toss them in the curb recycleing system. Tell a neighbor kid you offer
a nickel bounty for 1 and 2 liters.

I would call, no, go to... Landscaping companies, and have, as well as my
local nursery, which was small, and they upgrade plants in the slow season to
larger containers. This is mostly what they now call gallons, and they sure
seem like 3 quarts to me. They can buy a bunch for you if you give them a
weel or so to reach their supplier and hasn't just delivered a half week
prior. OSH and Home Depot will sell in piece and that just costs more.
Bill
