It's a little too late now, but in the future, if you live near or belong to a
church, ask the pastor for the faded lilies after Easter and poinsettias after
Christmas. They don't know what to do with the plants if people don't take them.
They all go to the trash. Not only are they terrific pots, especially the deep
lilly pots, but the soil is soft potting soil which I add to my compost pile.
You can even plant the lilies in a corner, but that's another story.
