Square Foot Gardening List - http://www.flinet.com/~gallus/sqft.html
I grew sorrel at 3 per square foot (started with four but slugs got one) one
year. In one of those impulsive decisions I uprooted it after the first year
so I'm not sure how it does after a few years. I was thinking of planting
some more this year if I can find a spot. I grow a variety of greens, I
usually try to guesstimate the spacing based on whatever information I have
about growing it (for example, the instructions for a plant that say thin to
12 inches in rows, I just do one per square. Though some greens are best
eaten small and tender so closer spacing might actually be better).
